Telescopic Access Bridges (TAB)

 

      

 

SMST provides a wide range of Telescopic Access Bridges (TAB) for safe and easy transfer of personnel to and from an offshore structure or quay side. Depending on the TAB version, functions like luffing, slewing and telescoping are performed hydraulically or fully electrically. Smart design has resulted in light-weight bridges and low power consumption.

SMST Telescopic Access Bridges are subdivided into 4 categories: S, M, L and XL, varying in length from 4 up to 58 meters.

The S version can be combined with our 13.5 and 24 meter Fast Offshore Craft. The S and M types are primarily developed for the Walk-to-Work application, whereas the L and XL versions are more suitable for the long-term connection between offshore structures and accommodation service vessels and the like. All bridges can be deployed for cargo handling and are available for rent.

Since jobs and vessels vary all the time, SMST offers flexibility by developing Telescopic Access Bridges consisting of modular components, suitable for all possible operational conditions.

The range of Telescopic Access Bridges are part of the package of offshore systems that SMST develops and builds for the wind industry. Our gangways consisting of stacking modules for various height adjustments are available from stock.
