What we do if a vessel is only available for a short time for mobilizing one of our modular gangways? We come up with a solution and get things done! For Solstad Offshore we pre-assembled our highest gangway setup to date in 3 building blocks at our facilities in Drachten and transported it to the port of Harlingen. The 2 sets of 4 stacking modules, with our latest Height Adjustment System, and our gangway (TAB-L) were lifted and mounted in just 1 day on the Normand Fortress, Solstad’s offshore support vessel. After connecting and testing the 24m high gangway system, the vessel departed perfectly in time to start operations in UK waters. Proud of our modular setup and flexible solutions!
